Independence Day celebration 2102

Every year Friendship College Boys celebrates our Independence Day with the hoisting of our national flag. It is always a symbolic moment for every student and teacher present. This year we were honored by the presence of the Minister of Health and Quality of Life, Honorable Lormus Bundhoo who kindly attended ceremony as our chief guest.

New Welfare Project 2012

Friendship College Boys now caters for needy students ...

Emboldened by the overwhelming positive response of the community and the students through recent extra-curricular activities, the management of FCB perceived a need to a new unit at the college to cater for the needy. A new NGO, Friendship College Boys Welfare Association, founded on the 28th of September 2011, is now fully determined to operate exclusively to further the common good and general welfare of needy students of this part of the north region. Protecting the rights to good education and care is their priority for 2012.

Parent Teacher Association Activities at FCB

The Friendship College Boys Parent Teacher Association was founded on 24th November 1988 with a group of teachers who had at heart the welfare of the pupil. The fundamental aims of the association were to cater for the welfare of the pupil and teacher in general, to provide funds for meeting expenses for the benefits of the pupils and to assist in promoting a good relationship between staff and parents.

Friendship College Boys Admission 2012

"Friendship College Boys will soon process this month of December formal applications for new students who will be admitted to Form One. Parents can call at the seat of the College once the CPE results are proclaimed. The Ministry of Education will inform those parents whose children have been able to secure a seat at Friendship College. Parents are to kindly bring the following documents to admit their ward: (a) Birth Certificate, (b) CPE result slip (c) Letter from the Ministry of Education.

Friendship College Boys celebrates 50th Anniversary

Friendship College Boys (FCB) in Goodlands celebrated its 50th anniversary on Monday in the presence of several eminent personalities, including minister of Education and Human Resources Vasant Bunwaree, minister of Civil Service Affairs and Administrative Reforms Ashit Gungah, minister of Arts and Culture Mookhesswur Choonee and PPS Lormus Bundhoo.
